Adele Akers in CBA essay competition success

All at Drystone Chambers congratulate pupil barrister Adele Akers on her recent success in the Criminal Bar Association (CBA) competition. Adele entered the CBA essay competition which involved submitting an essay and an interview with an advocacy exercise. We are delighted to learn that she was successful and as a result her essay will be published. In addition she has been awarded a Bursary as well as an Archbold text book and free subscriptions to leading practitioners’ textbooks. The Bursary Fund is supported by leading legal publishers Thomson Reuters (Sweet & Maxwell) Oxford University Press and a number of Criminal Chambers.
