Alastair Malcolm QC successful in three week long double murder prosecution

Alastair Malcolm QC, instructed by Wessex CPS, recently concluded a double murder trial at Bristol Crown Court. The two defendants, sisters Charise and Amberstasia Gassmann, were charged with the murder of Alison Connelly, a mother of seven, in a dispute about a moped.
Charice Gassmann, 19, was found guilty of murder and Amberstasia Gassmann, 23, was convicted of manslaughter. Charice Gassmann was jailed for life, to serve a minimum of 19 years. Her sister was sentenced to 12 years. For more information and press links see below:
