ANDREW PRICE'S CLIENT ACQUITTED AS £750,000 MONEY LAUNDERING TRIAL COLLAPSES

7 March 2016

Andrew Price, instructed by Mark French of Edward Hayes Solicitors, acted for a company director and international businessman in a trial expected to last six weeks at Blackfriars Crown Court.

‎Andrew's client and seven other defendants were involved in buying and selling Apple products on the grey market, many of which were then shipped abroad. The underlying credit card fraud behind the original purchases was said, by the Prosecution, to be 'enormous' compared to the money laundering allegation.

After two days of legal argument, concerning hearsay and disclosure, the Prosecution offered no evidence against Andrew's client and seven other defendants.
