Barnaby Hone successfully applies for another Account Freezing Order under s.303Z1

10 April 2018

Barnaby Hone successfully utilised a new type of freezing order in case heard at Ipswich Magistrates Court recently. Account Freezing Orders were introduced by the Criminal Finance Act 2017: they came into force on 21st January 2017, and Barnaby has been instructed in a number of cases involving these new orders. Account Freezing and Forfeiture Orders are burgeoning new areas of asset recovery law.

Due to his wealth of experience in this area, Barnaby is about to embark upon a seminar programme to assist specialist practitioners on best practice in applying and enforcing freezing orders and asset recovery law in general, following his successful 2017 POCA update programme.

This seminar programme will take place at our London address, commencing 12th June 2018. Contact us if this is not a convenient location, or if your firm would be interested in a bespoke version of this topic. We are happy to travel to deliver in-house seminars across the country.
