Julian Norman on the Gender Recognition Act 2004

Further to her recent invitation to the House of Lords to participate on a panel discussion on this issue (see here for our previous news item on the topic), Julian Norman recently contributed to an article by the Guardian newspaper discussing a public consultation on proposed changes to the Gender Recognition Act 2004 that would allow people to “self-ID”. Julian was amongst seven other lawyers who were asked to comment upon the governments view that they should “streamline and demedicalise” the process of changing gender in the UK.
