Karen Walton and Rebecca Penfold appearing at the Third International Advocacy Conference

Karen Walton and Rebecca Penfold will appear today at the third International Advocacy Conference to present their paper on ‘The Operation of Ground Rules Hearings’. Karen and Rebecca will use their wealth of practical experience defending in cases with child and vulnerable witnesses when considering how best to approach Ground Rules.
The conference is entitled ‘Advocacy and Vulnerable Witnesses: 20 years on from the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999’ and is hosted by the Centre for Advocacy at Nottingham Law School, in conjunction with The Advocate’s Gateway.
