Kassia Pletscher joins Drystone Chambers
4 October 2019
We are delighted to announce that following completion of pupillage, Kassia Pletscher has accepted an offer of tenancy. Kassia joined Chambers in September 2018 to complete a twelve month pupillage. During her ‘second six’ months, Kassia regularly appeared in the Youth, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts, both in trials and appeals.
Kassia has successfully developed a growing practice in the Crown Court and has been instructed in cases involving a range of offences, including domestic burglary, dangerous dogs, and drugs offences. In the Youth Court, Kassia has dealt with serious matters, including burglary with intent to do GBH, possession of a bladed article, and ‘County Lines’ drug offences involving a Modern Slavery Act defence.
