Operation Enfield - 'the Aylesbury grooming trial' continues

A case concerning child sexual exploitation on a massive scale which featured two girls who were reportedly exploited and sexually abused over a period of 4 years from the age of 12 or 13. Of eleven defendants in the trial, ten were Asian men, all of whom lived in Aylesbury. It was alleged that the girls had been befriended and then 'groomed', with regular use of drugs and alcohol. The trial, which has received national press interest, is now in its ninth week at the Central Criminal Court.
