Leading barrister sets Dyers Chambers and One Paper Buildings have merged to create Drystone Chambers, the chambers of Karim Khalil QC and Andrew Campbell-Tiech QC. Drystone Chambers boasts a membership of 86, including 7 QCs. Based at 35 Bedford Row, Drystone Chambers will provide enhanced services to its individual, business and public authority clients across the UK and abroad.

R v Kohali, Court of Appeal – Acting on behalf of the Appellant, Richard Heller secured a huge reduction in the fine imposed on a developer for breaching the terms of a Planning Enforcement Notice. In reducing the record fine of £190,000 to £24,000, the Court of Appeal accepted that the Crown Court judge had misinterpreted the offence-creating provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act and had failed to give the Appellant sufficient credit for his early guilty plea.
